This mod will no longer be based on the Silent Hill Universe, we decided to remove all Silent Hill related subjects from the project, the reason is simple, we didn't want to be the target of a lawsuit from Konami, they didn't try anything yet, but I don't want to wait to find out, considering all the hard work.
Luckily, the plot/story, characters, monsters, game-play are all new and original to Silent Hill, so about 80% is still the same and not affected, it is still a psychological action horror game, so there are some/little similarities to Silent Hill, but since the project is no longer part of the SH Universe, there are no limits to what we can do.
Also id like to welcome 3 new members; zYnthetic, who is a 'Jack of all trades' kind of member, he is a Level designer, Artist, and a Composer. Check out his work here, and here. Many people have made Resident Evil - based games / mods, still they havent got any sues from capcom..
Small quote from capcom`s forums:
"you can use Resident Evil - name, soundtracks etc. in your games / mods as long as you dont sell them"
this should affect also in Silent Hill.
