Version 2.1
- Re-created all 40 unit save games from scratch to have Hard Campaign / Hard Battle Difficulty, the recommended of the mod.
Also, because the save games are made from scratch, some possible issues of the previous saves have been resolved.
You must start a new campaign with these to see the new campaign AI behaviour, although it is not mandatory. - Several CAI improvements to make the AI more intelligent and challenging in the campaign map.
- Added 2 beautiful retextures of Pdguru for "Old guard grenadiers" and "Chasseurs" French units.
- Added more mass to ships for even more realistic handling behaviour.
- Improved the musket smoke effects to be even more realistic.
- Fixed Launcher's small bug (When a special campaign was set it could not revert manually to vanilla unless we used the default settings button).
Is'nt anybody going to do the British in Africa version mod up against 991 billion raging, screaming Zulu warriors?!?!
Twcenter.net
You mean this? lol
I bought all the Total War games on sales via Steam but haven't really dug into them much yet. I loved Rome though....the DarthMod series of mods seems great, would you recommend I start with the DarthMod, and does it work with Steam?
@ FK MrCP Oh WoW! I never played these apart RTS C&C, Total Annihilation,People's General. I like to get started on something like this cause it appears interesting. I liked watching those large scale epic battles from the old movie days cause they dont make films like this about historical battles now like ZULU back in the early 1960s. Think i will start with Shogan 2 then proceed with Napolean days battles. I also like the British in Africa as well in India ( Gunga Din anybody?) - hope to aquire those as well. The Darth mod costumes, massive armies, smoke from the battles ect. got me really excited! So realistic! What game should i get that this mod is based on? Cant wait to get started!
Pretty sure its for Napoleon, says at the top of the page. I'm a fan of the 1960s film as well, as I am also a fan of all Epic films.
@formerlyknownasMrCP - there's Darthmod for Empire and Shogun2 as well.
