To everyone watching this mod (or who may or may not have seen it around while on ModDB), please don't be surprised when you see "In Limbo," as the title "Cursed Mansion" was a place holder name while I came up with something that sound less generic, and more interesting. Another reason for this development is, as I've gone through making the story, I started to move away from the idea of the mansion being cursed (which was my original idea) but as I developed the map, and kept changing the story, it started to deviate away from my original idea.
That being said, the characters will still be the same, but I feel that (at least in my own opinion) the story is much more interesting, which has so far been my driving part for this story. While I may be new to mapping and scripting, I am used to writing, and the story for this mod has been on my mind for most of the time since I started working on it. The story has always come first in this, as I want to keep the player guessing when he or she plays this mod, and I want that to be what keeps the player playing, in spite of any short comings in mapping or scripting; that being said, I'm not being lazy with my mapping/scripting, I'm just inexperienced, and thus, I will make mistakes, and I want you guys to show me what mistakes I have made, so I can make future mods more enjoyable.
And with that, this will be one of the few updates between now and Halloween, I can't wait to get this out, and I hope you guys will enjoy it when it finally does.
I would probably change it again. There is already a mod called "Limbo" and it's terrible.
I wouldn't like the thought of people confusing that piece of crap mess with your decent mod.
