The CryENGINE 3 Developers group is all about creating levels, mod, Total modifications, addon's, machinima videos, games and Indie games, using Sandbox3 for Crysis or using the free standalone CryENGINE 3 SDK tools.
Amateurs and professionals are welcome to join the The CryENGINE 3 Developers group and post their CryENGINE3 news, screenshots, videos, maps or demos in this group.

Promotion Week 1: Panzar "Forged By Chaos"
In this first promotion week we will be looking at "Forged By Chaos " made by the Russian Panzar Studios. "Forged by Chaos" is an uniquely looking third-party action game.
The main focus in the game is on the well-coordinated team play. Due to the fact that the game has leveling and character development, Panzar often mistakenly defined as a MMORPG, be we believe that Panzar is a MMO-Action with role-playing elements.
In the video below you can view some of the atmospheric level design from the map "Orc Camp."
"Forged by Chaos" features online pvp combat in five game scenarios: Domination, Messenger, Assault, King of the Hill and Team Deathmatch with up to 32 players. There will be no single player mode or level editor available.
Its currently set for release around fall 2011.
Next week there will be another upcoming CryENGINE 3 game feature on "CryENGINE 3 Development Group."

Then the CryDK comes out. I'm going to think about try a arma like environment on it just to see how good it really is for large scale

i liked cryengine 2 more! volumetric clouds very nice underwater effects much more interactions with objects larger maps better physics you could shoot a tree in half and chop it in piecesin crysis 2 you cant destroy trees
CryENGINE 3 is a massive improvement, including things like streaming so I'm not sure what you're basing those comments on. :)
Crysis 2 must run on xbox 360 and ps 3, therefore CE 3 was made, as it uses resources more efficiently than its predecessor. Crytek's aim wasn't to create an engine that beats CE 2 but one that runs on consoles.
You can destroy trees in Cryengine 3 that has nothing todo with Crysis 2.

Nothing shown here looks any better than Crysis.
Thats a matter of preference, but I do enjoy the artistic style that "Forged by Chaos" is using.
i don't think that Crysis 2 uses all futures and powers that the cryengine 3 has in itself. so you can't compare cryengine 2 with 3 up on what you see in Crysis2.
and that trees can't be broken in half in crysis 2 is not really true, i did encounter some trees that can, but not most trees can't, that is true. still, this doesn't mean that this can't be done with cry3.

2 years or more ago i read about that Crytek did open severel new game studio's in europe and easter europe, (or at least these new companies would use the cryengine 2 and 3 as there main engine).
after that i didn't hear anything anymore about it, and then the financial crysis came as we all know. so i was afraid the new companies where broken down again. seems this isn't the case because finally we get to see these new games. shame that there are not all fpshooters, lol. but that was to be expected. still, a few interesting titles where shown.
