Hi guys! It's our "time of the month" again, and we have another fantastic trailer on-hand for all you loyal fans out there!
This time around, we've decided to provide you with some gameplay footage, rather than take a purely-cinematic approach. After all the recent work that's gone into balancing our mod, we want to offer a look at what we've created thus far from a player's perspective, and at the same time, demonstrate some of the special units and features that make CoH: Modern Combat unique.
We also want to take this opportunity to familiarise the community with two P.L.A. vehicles which, whilst important in their own right, might not be as famous or as familiar to newcomers as a unit like the instantly-recognisable M1A2 Abrams: the ZZC02 Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle and the PGZ95 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Vehicle, both of which are featured in the trailer.
Anyway, enough rambling; you're all here for the good stuff. So without further ado, the trailer!

We're not using it commercialy and the track will not be used for the mod itself, just for this particular video. I am sorry, but we don't have our own componists. It's nothing to do with DICE, using any other track would do the same =/

One question here:
Is the ZZC02 detection ability only widening the fow and detection radius, or can it also detect enemy armour in hidden terrain, like in the Anti-Tank doctrine of the Panzerelite?
If no, will this **** up the balance too much to implement this feature? Because, in reality, the ZZC02's battlefield reconaissance radar-system fulfills pretty much this role of detecting armour in great ranges.

It also detects armour in the FOW, within a certain radius, similar to the PE doctrine ability, yes.
Gonna have to reinstall CoH when this releases...

Last question: It is just me or were the helmets of the PLA soldiers overworked? Since the old one's seems to be just reskinned Wehrmacht helmets...
If no, it would be good enough to replace these helmets with the newly modeled US helmets - The PLA kevlar-helmets are also just PASGT-styled design.
The PLA heads and helmets are still WM models. When we replace the heads with Asian heads we'll fix the rest of the equipment too.
I swear to god the sniper is voiced by the same guy who voices Garrus from Mass Effect.
