Here is a new concept I am working on for the cats in Overgrowth. It is really hard to get something that seems both realistic and original. One reason to keep the design grounded is to provide contrast so that the more amazing aspects of the game seem that much more over-the-top.
Be sure to watch it in HD!
I am pretty happy with how this looks. What do you guys think? (permalink)

Wow if i could just know how you could draw like that? Do you use a pen board? the style is awesome the artwork is beautiful i like it. This is one game on moddb I'm always looking forward to. Great Job Go Overgrowth!!!! Please keep updating we love your game!
Thanks! Aubrey used to use a really small Wacom tablet but recently he upgraded to a Cintiq.
We have many more updates coming. :)
lucky fellow! well hes putting it to good use it would seem.
Very nice concept art creation, now record a video of you making it in MS paint ;)
I always love to see these timelapse videos. I wish I had someone to do concept art for Modular Combat. :)
Yeah, concept artists are lacking in some areas on the internet... Most of them tend to find jobs, etc. in arts related work so they appear in the full game development teams but rarely make it into modding teams...
i love watching how the magic happens! nice job!
Agreed. It's always amazing to watch an artist art work. You guys have so much talent, it's truly a pleasure to watch you build this game from the ground up! Thanks for the updates!!

Beautiful work.
Is there a way we can watch this without having our eyes explode? If you're making timelapse videos don't change the view on the image all the time, or slow it down a bit.
I would really like to watch this, but in a way that's not accelerated by factor 10, maybe then I could even learn something from it.
Incredible. You always do some really impressive stuff great work yet again.
always worth a view
very sweet.
Interesting style. The artist keeps picking away at different parts as he/she feels like it instead of some of the more procedural artwork I've seen. Very beautiful and great attention to detail and style.
Oh my god.. I really want to learn to draw like you
Jesus...
For the furries!!! DonĀ“t leave die this proyect people, you can! ;)
