Evening all!
I'm excited to show off the content I have been working on this week, which includes a heap of texture and material tweaks, ambient occlusion maps, particle systems and sound tweaks.
I have been working to get the level I have for Caffeine to a more polished state, Below is the result of this weeks work.

I hope that you all enjoy the improvements and please leave a comment with some critique of this level so far.
Thanks for all of your support guys!
Cheers,
Dylan

The graphics are looking really nice. Seems like it's meant to be a very immersive game and with that in mind, it could be really nice if you added dirt maps to the camera lens (when you look at a light source you see the dirt. Games like Warframe, planetside 2, battlefield all do this).

As for sound, looks like everything is working on queue and has a nice eerie feel. You can tell that the game is well polished from just the soundscape alone.

The spark particles need work, thet are a bit too floaty and too fat.

Other than that it's all looking really good, loving the ambient occlusion too.

Thanks heaps :), yeh i am a massive fan of games that immerse you in their world. I do have a dirt map but I think it needs to be a little stronger aha after some recent tweaks it looks like it is almost invisible :P, Thanks for your input! I will be playing around with the particles now :)
Cheers!

one silly question:

why is it that the kitchen props are sooo big, it seems like the player is a child, his head reaches only just the edge of tables etc. but doors and hallways suggest the player is average sized. i am confused. :D

From the description: "in Caffeine you awaken to find yourself as a young boy on what appears to be some kind of space station or craft seemingly alone." :)
