whenever i try to logon to Multiplayer internet it keeps saying:
Log in failed
your serial number is invalid
or something like that/ why is this? i dont even have renegade installed on my pc... O_o
Leilei, do you read anything at all. Even before we've told you. We have permission from EA. they know what we are doing, hell two staff memebers have flown to EALA and attended community summits and discussed things.
It's 100% legal because we have permission, they endorse us and in a few days you'll see an interview/review with EA on the official C&C website. (A bit of insider news to everyone, expect it in a few days)
No, thats was Renegade 2, which aimed at linking Red alert and Red alert 2 to the Tiberian storyline.
This is a *port* of Red alert to Renegade. So turning it from a RTS game into a FPS with all the buildings, tanks, infantry, naval units and helicopters seen in Red alert. Not everything that was in red alert is in beta, we'll be adding more content in future releases.
But this is standalone, if you use the direct connect tool (APBIP) to connect to the official servers you can play online. For the IPs of the servers and ingame stats, rankings and awards/medals go here: Apb.mp-gaming.com

Remember, C&C Renegade is NOT required to play APB- Beta. You can be another old gamer who's never played a C&C game and jump right in. (yes, we have permission from Electronic Arts, stop asking :p )

is this based around the RA in Renegade engine stuff from the game westwood never finished?

i think it would be great if they helped you guys do SP RA too. I loved Renegade SP mode. I'm expecting I'll love this!
Try re-installing APB
Use the APBIP program that game with the game and direct connect to the servers.

Using the Mutiplayer Internet option from the main menu of the game takes you to XWIS if you happen to own C&C Renegade and would rather use that.
This game is brilliance, sheer brilliance. It progresses whereas all imitators fail.
My god I think I played this before like 2 1/2 years ago and there was 2 severs running.... was that a day dream of this or what was I playing back then .... p.s. I had a number name maybe you saw me ex 04519112008 lol. But I loved the Hud back then I hope it still kicks behinds.
