Welcome to the formal media release of Blue Shift: Reassignment. After being in development incognito for nearly over one year, we have come to present our works. This modification is intended to improve and enhance your Blue Shift gaming experience. We believe Gearbox didn't do a great job with this expansion to Half-Life, and with this modification we can re-glorify the true potential this game held.
Blue Shift: Reassignment intends to enhance all models, most sounds and sprites, implement detail textures, add new weapons and enemy NPCs, and enhance the visual effects via code. We do have more plans for the improvement of Blue Shift, however they remain secretive as we will reveal them on a later date.

But as for me I do not see the point in such a project. It's somehow a new fashion from mappers & modders to recreate mods. (Heart of Evil, Blackops)
Instead of wasting your time with such good features for original Blue Shift. You should build your own Blue Shift mod with new unique levels and your new features. It would be a lot more fun that way to play something totaly new and having your great graphic features. That's of course only my opinion.
