Over the last few months unfortunately I have neglected Moddb in favour of the FSE forums. If you have been following there, you'll see that I have changed the direction of Blood and Iron. Instead of sticking to the Franco-Prussian war, I have decided to expand Blood and Iron into a general late 19th century modification. Lucky for anyone reading this now, the work is almost done and will be released very soon as of this date.
The main additions to the mod include the new faction of Great Britain, featuring a variety of British home and colonial units. There is also a faction called "Microfactions", where each unit is a different nationality with a different uniform and usually their own weapon. This should hopefully bring a lot more appeal to the mod.
