Right i've had to release the beta some what earlier than i had wanted to so some bits aren't as i'd of liked them to of been in the first release.

Right, I've taken the decision to release the beta some what earlier than i had wanted to. This is mainly due to real life and a few other bits and pieces which means i'm not going to be able to do much if anything to the mod for awhile. I was originally intending to get it out in the first few weeks of september with a few more bits finished off. However as it goes so far the mod has the amarr faction in and completed. so all icons, text and teams colours are all working for them, then along side them you have the gallente faction all in and completed apart from those eve players out there will notice the thanatos carrier is missing. This is one of those things i was wanting to of had fixed before the beta, though it shall corrected for the next release. both factions have thier stations all fully working aswell. There is the sansha station in game which replaces the hutt asteriod and it does allow you to build the nightmare battleship, the other sansha ships didnt get finihsed in time im afraid.
now i was wanting to add some maps but again not had chance, just to mainly show of the nebulas, though also not had time to convert the props so decided not to rush them and make them once ive got the props so you can fully appriecate them. however all credit must go to burntstrobe for the use of his stunning nebulas and backdrops they are rather stunning.
The beta is intended for skirmish, not for GC, i have not tried GC so cant tell you what it'll do and i cant offer any support on it as its not on my to do list at the moment. However skirmish is fully working and i do hope you have fun, and if there are any bugs then just let me know so i can fix these.

It only works with a mod launcher right? Do you know of one that works? The Petroglyph Launcher doesn't work.

Okay, I found a launcher that works and tried it. It's a fun mod, but even though I know it's a Beta, it felt to much like the original game with addons. Oh, and the Gallente space station had a hitpoint that I couldn't destroy for some reason. I was hitting something invisible around it.

well GC hasnt been looked at yet, so any issuses with it im not fixing yet as am not sorting the GC out until all races are completed, i'll look into the gallente station, as ive never had issuses with it myself. im trying to get it up on moddb as we speak but its taking a very long time to upload.

HINT
In order do make ur own .bat file
Open notepad and paste the following line of code
swfoc MODPATH=Mods\<NAME OF THE EVE AT WAR FOLDER HERE>
Remove the <NAME OF THE EVE AT WAR FOLDER HERE> with that ever the folder is that inside the mods folder that contains the EVE mod. Ill send gilly a owrking one for the next patch when i get a chance
save it as eveatwar.bat in the same folder as swfoc.exe and if should open the mod. Then u can righht clock select, send to, desktop (shortcut)

I used a launcher from a different mod and put in eve at war instead of the other mod. if you make a new shortcut on ur desktop and make any adjustments according to where u put the mod it should work. both of my mods were in the same folder, so i literally only had to change one word in the target box. mine looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\Eve_at_War

To ppl that cant find out to make a shortcut (as myself).
Easy one is to copy the data folder and put it into the FoC folder, and overwritte the original one, and make sure to make a backup from the original data folder, from FoC so you can play original when you want to play normal

Great mod! even though its not fully finished, still an awesome mod, graphics look great as well. Keep up the great work!
P.S. i simply copied a bat. file from a previous mod and converted it for Eve

Hello, i need some help with the steam version. I cant get this mod to work for the life of me. I've tried the .bat(opens normal EAW) I've tried the mod path and manually opening FoC from the gold pack(runs normal game). I want to try out this mod, any help please?

Edit: also tried petro launcher, didnt work. Launched normal SW EAW

steams a pain, there was a way to do it on my SFAW page but its been deleted and i cant remember, look for empire at war stea mmod install and see if u can find it
