Screw you people who complain its a cheap BMS. I want to work on it so i will. I have some help from slayer557. If ya dont have anything nice to say go and play some Counter-Strike or something because i dont want to hear it. We all got to start somewhere. And no im not arrogant i just want to do this for fun which is what your supposed to do a mod for.

Why would you want to do something that is already being done by an amazing team and looks alot more promising then this?

Everybody DOES have to start somewhere, a piece of advice though, don't post your first or second attempts of a mod on this or any website. atleast untill you have some solid progress to show.

Just do what you wanna do. I started with no experience with the source engine when I Started my mod but I was and still am just as dedicated to do what it takes to learn all I can.
I myself would go for something different, create a mod with a different take on what happened during HL1. There are so many small stories you could have. You wouldn't be forced to create a huge game like HL1's plus you get to get a bit more freedom to play around with a story line.
But this is not about me.
Do it for your love of games, and for the fun it brings. Don't listen to nay sayers, follow your own course.
Wish you all the luck and have fun doing it. in about a year or two, you'll come out a much wiser and more experienced dev. It takes time and experience to get good, you can only learn that by creating stuff, and learn from mistakes ... Just don't give up and quit, then it will all be for not.
