Ladies and gentlemen, the time of canonical judgment is nearly upon us. With the current clone wars series soon to be concluded with what is expected to be its final season, I have laid out two major plans for the alliance to restore canon.
In the event that Leland Chee completely overwrites the current clone wars timeline with the events from the 2008 clone wars series, I have decided to disband the Alliance to Restore Canon. What we're trying to protect is the pre-established timeline of the clone wars and the overwriting of that timeline will be our ultimate defeat. Our favorite comic books, Star wars Battlefront (I & II), Star Wars Republic Commando, the Star Wars: Clone Wars Miniseries, and all of the other Rise of the Empire era comics, novels, and videogames that made star wars so epic and made the clone wars feel like an actual struggle, will be paved over with the bulldozer of childish themes, cheesy one liners, and a republic that wins every single battle. And all of what was once canon will be made non canon, thus rendering our purpose, to preserve the awesomeness of the pre-established timeline, no more. If this event were to occur the Alliance to Restore Canon will be disbanded, my nickname of "the Canon Nazi"; I will no longer be referred to as. Lastly, my already dwindling ember of interest in the Star Wars universe will die out. But all is not hopeless; we had a good long run and our favorite comics, video games, and novels will forever remain the true spirit of the Rise of the Empire era in our hearts.
The other plausible scenario is that the events in the current series don't pave over the pre-established timeline but rather, are integrated into the existing timeline. However, to do this, they would need to pave over a few sources but as long as most of the timeline lies intact and without any major conflictions, we all should be in the clear. In this scenario, there is bound to be a few disagreements among members regarding different aspects of the new integrated timeline, so I will keep the Alliance to Restore Canon up rather than disbanding it. Though the integration would be somewhat of a "win" for us, I will still leave the Alliance to Restore Canon due to my own personal reasons.
With college starting soon along with the upcoming release of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey my interest in the Star Wars Universe has become not as great as it once was. I know so much about George Lucas' Universe that I've become a bit bored of it. After Reading J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit during my senior year in High school, I have become enamored with Tolkien's universe and this has caused a sudden loss of interest in Lucas' universe. This combined with the fact that I start college in the fall and that time for what I call "nerdy activities" is growing scarce; are my primary reasons for leaving. I will still continue working on the Star Wars: Clone Wars sub-mod for FOC and aiding Ozzy667 with the main mod (Star Wars- Clone wars modification) but I will not have time for the Alliance to Restore Canon. After the timeline integration I will give Alliance to Restore Canon administrative powers to whomever is the most active in the group and most supports the cause (so NO to the_darker_side; NO to Ozzy667; and NO to my brother who only joined the group to spite me).

why is it so hard to see what the people want? A live action series, battlefront 3, a new Jedi knight, republic commando 2 Knights of the old republic ( not mmorpg) a grittier series.... If even a new trilogy of movies based on the extended time line. Or even better than all these a jango, it better yet boba fett movie.

Just because I disagree with your obvious hatred of the show and your claims that it is some kind of small childrens show does not mean I somehow agree with the show overwritting everything else. The show is not gonna replace anything. That would be utterly rediculous as is the belief that it will. Why would LA make the show replace all there other clone wars era games, comics, books, etc. To claim I am against the cause of this group to intergrate the timelines is a completely rediculous claim considering all of my arguements have always been about how I believe the history Delta claims have been overwritten can co exist. So if you wish to include my name it should read "No one who doesn't hate the show will be allowed to take over" which further supports the idea this is a clone wars haters group.

I enjoy the clone wars for light, star wars entertainment. BUt the canon changing because of it, and other "things" George Lucas does just ****** me off.
