Hey folks,
I felt it was necessary to inform everyone that the Half Life 2 mod community, www.Ahl2.mod.net,, who also hosts a number of Half Life 2 related mods, has been hacked again. This time the entire server has been affected, which not only ruins the motivation and working atmosphere of us at Ahl2mod.net but also that of the mods that we host. Some parts of the server have already been 'rescued' one might want to say, however, other parts are still hacked. An example of this hack can be seen here.
With recent hacks on Black Mesa and other mods and modding communities, this needs to find an end. While most find joy and interest in doing something for the community, regardless of what game, there is always a wolf in a sheep's disguise who has nothing better to do but to slow progress or even destroy dreams of others.
I do hope that none of you will fall victim to hacks like that, as it really does put a damper wanting to be involved.

The reason why I posted this, is because I am part of the ahl2mod administration. I think everyone should know about this hack and be warned. Even though there may be dozens of different communities for every game, we can't forget that we are still one big community who have some things in common. We love gaming and love modding!

This is a lame arab attack trying to scare the western word once again. Its a disgrace.
