sounds reasonable, but just wondering for knowing's sake...

HL2DM is really, really fun!! There is just something so satisfying about hurling a filing cabient at someone and slamming them into a wall. Whether the gimmick will still be fun after days and days of playing is another story, though.

I want to play HL2DM so badly, but when I try to run it, my CD spins a lot, and nothing happens. Any ideas on how I could get it to freaking run? Thanks!

Seems alot of people are having the problem where after downloading the patch nothing will run.

The CD spins and then nothing.

Halflife2.net

I don't think it's Retail specific either as some people have the steam version and it still doesn't work for them.

Ahh well, all we can do is wait. I wanted to play some HL2 today as well :/

There is now a new patch for the problem that some ppl have encountered - just restart steam and you're ready to go.

Now to figure out how to setup the SDK for MSVC++ 6.0

Oh my god, try the SDK!

I made a huge battle with about 300 entities!

Just beware, there is one bug.

If a stalker (tortured human creature that shoots red lasers, which you don't get to fight in singleplayer) dies the game will crash.

"Lord of the Rings" has nothing compared to Source!
