Well, Team Fortress Classic might not be the best game ever, but I heard some fun games went down on Mod DB's new server. Still thanks to those awesome guys over at GameServers.com for their excellent work on changing the game, and a massive thanks to Karuto for an epic session of uploading the new mod to the server.

As many would realise, there is a poll up about which mod we should host, and so far, it's been pretty much neck and neck. Pirates Vikings Knights 2 had a very strong showing, but we felt we couldn't ignore the monumental release of Dystopia v1. That's correct, it is now everyone's responsibility to come online and join the fun in one of the best damn mods around!

Server IP: 8.3.5.37:27015
Server Name: ModDB.com Community Server
Current Mod: Dystopia v1
Password: moddb
Sponsor: GameServers.com

I hope to see some crazy cyberpunk action happening in there over the next few days. Don't let the database down, team.

the servers been up for a few days now and is still barely ever active, dystopia requires alot of players to really have fun and this passwords making that impossible. If people dont know about modb, an awesome public server is a great way for them to find out. Maybe you guys could add an motd that links directly to the homepage.

I did say Team Fortress Classic. But then I'd have to admit I've never played Team Fortress. Anyone jumped in yet?

I was on there with betelgeuse (yeah I don't know how to spell that) a while ago, we had a nice little non-serious 1v1.

You guys should take off the password, thats the only way its going to fill up. Why have a password anyway? I usually have my filter set to not even show passworded servers, and moddb is such a well-known popular gaming site-passwords dont make much sense.

We don't want it filling up with non moddb community members. When we didn't have a password for a couple of days, the server was full of people who we had no idea about, this way it's not 10% full 100% of the time, making it just another pub.

Cool. I'll be sure to show up in the next few days, just after I get the hang of Dystopia. Wouldn't want to screw the team over. ;)
