Axisandallies.org (A&A.org) is running a Tournament, with $200 USD going to the winning team.
Gargantua, a member there, is organizing it, and fronting the money for the tourney.

Goal is to have 32 teams of 2-3 people each. That means around 70-90 people.
We already have about 50 people signed up, in 21 teams.

It is COMPLETELY FREE to sign up. No entry fee at all.

So, click the link and make an account at A&A.org, and post in the thread asking to join a team, or start your own team.
You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain!

Details:

1. Winning team takes home $200.

2. All games will be played using TripleA, either Play-By-Forum (default choice) or Live Online (only if both sides agree).

3. All teams must be either 2 or 3 members in size. At least one player in each must either be new to TripleA, or new to the axisandallies.org website.

4. Regular tournament concepts of being nice, courteous, playing regularly, warning ahead of time if going on vacation, etc. Gargantua and several other members will be judging the tourney.

What are you talking about? We do have a Linux version, and it runs on both my linux boxes. You can install through desura's game runner, or use the standalone download, or download the "all_platforms" version from the main website.
