DC Global Front presents news about the upcoming 0.2D public release. Version 0.2C remained internal until performance issues could be addressed. Work is proceeding slow, but sure towards the all-new, full-install of the mod. These are some of the additions featured in the upcoming release. Our Dev Leader, Marshall Nord, has purchased a new military radar from The3Dstudio.com. It has been modified for the Global Front mod and is available in two variations:

Since his creation I tested the first version of DC GF.
As you know at this time (2013 March) BF1942 can be always downloaded for Free with Origin. It is very nice for mappers and modders because I think it is a chance for the survival (survey) of Mods. Now I have a wish for the future DCGF Mod: I hope players with BF1942 CD version and with BF1942 Origin version could play on the same server.

Hi all comrades and very happy to see you here amigo "TheManWithNoName" I can see the World of Battlefield 1942 is small and great!
I continue to test DC GLOBAL FRONT (in version 0.2c) and on windows7 and Windows8 OS. We can play in native resolution of our screens (1920*1080). No CTD at this time. Bots controlled by artificial intelligence have acceptable behavior, much better than in some other mods and their names are correct in the various factions.
