Aftermath is a hl2 mod which involves the player killing waves of the undead with your friends or alone using weapons, your knife or even blow them up with grenades and set them alight with Molotov's.

Aftermath is point based and requires you to buy weapons and doors with points gained from killing zombies, new features include barriers which allow you to slow down zombies by blocking their path, zombie dismemberment, weapon upgrading, combo bonuses and more maps.

Current maps: Harbor, Quarantine, Napalm, Night napalm, Condemned, Containerville, Havoc
Coming soon: Dead End and voted by you ( Lighthouse map )

So Ive finally decided to kill off the mod, my ideas and dreams of becoming a successful and fun mod were made true and a large community was generated of people who wanted to kill zombies, but know my ideas have perished along with my time and my motivation.

Theres only so much you can do and what i did was fun and very educational, the source engine is a great engine to work with but id rather help others than drag around a mod that has halted in motivation and generally an actual team.

University!, when the christmas holiday's started i worked my *** off on the mod finishing it and running around trying to get everyone on board again. I finished the mod a while ago we had map's to fix and files to port over to the vpk format which is all new to me, then uni started again and i instantly lost motivation.

I will upload the mod today since im not doing much but there's two problem's.

1. Napalm is ******
2. No server's ( well i have got money to buy them but i don't know i want to invest in them if nobody is gonna play it )

I think you might be interested in the glitch I encountered. I was playing on napalm at round 20 or so. I had the M3 and the vss. I was being swarmed, decided to use the vss to help out a bit, ended up getting the instikill combo. Now this is the glich. After accidentally throwing a grenade the instikill remained on even after it vanished. Meaning that for the rest of the game the vss, m3 and knife were pretty much one shot/hit kills. But only the knife awarded points.

Yeah I know I but just before that, a couple of rounds ago I got instikill and that didn't happen. And is the vss supposed to give points because it doesn't.

Points are not given when a gun kills but when a zombie dies so yes it should, the code doesn't exist ( in your build version ) to remove the combo thingy because i forgot to so that cant happen.

I don't know if there are any other mappers in the team, but I don't have plans of doing anything like that. I'm trying to keep away from CoD-ish themes, so next map may (or may not) be something more original.

We have barely a team but the members we have are very good at what they do, jacol is a fantastic mapper and his original work is what people love. If we were to copy other designs it wouldn't show jacol's potential.

I love this game lots, and I'm pretty sure you (The dev) have already thought of this but would you mind switching the fast zombies to the normal slow-ish zombies cuz its pretty hard to get to later waves. Could make the sprint less to compensate or make the character weaker. Also I can't find the pack-a-punch, if its in the game, rotfl.
