I don't have enough characters to do this mod justice in this review.

To start off, the game *perfectly* fits the atmosphere of a classic zombie film and has an entire appropriate soundtrack and the maps to go with it, which instills a sense of immersion.

The character models were well made and I could see the amount of effort and detail they put into them right off the bat and was pleasantly surprised. Every character has their own unique personality and dialogue as well which is a neat feature.

All of the weapons seemed appropriate for the game and are within reason. No AA12s, RPGs, Barrett .50cals, etc. Though they weren't too many types of weapons (rifle, shotgun, handgun, melee, explosive) I feel this adds to the nice simplicity of this game, and no one weapon feels too powerful compared to others, they're all balanced.

The official maps were very well designed gameplay-wise and each one has a distinct and unique atmosphere. Whether you're listening to the wind howling in the streets in Nightmare, or watching the horde shamble through the foggy countryside from your boarded up window in Rural Panic, they were all very immersive, well designed, and all equally interesting.

Having the option to play survival OR objective really made this stand out from the crowd and adds a nice bit of variety to the gameplay, as opposed to aimlessly killing zombies forever like most mods. The fact this is purely Player vs Player also adds to the tension.
No mindless bot-slaughtering, just your team vs the zombie horde composed of the other players that you shall soon join too, and becoming a part of the evergrowing zombie horde pits you against the humans who you must now overwhelm with your growing numbers and force.

This game is also well balanced. Although zombies do win most of the time, it's not without taking numerous casualties along the way, and although humans have guns and speed, it won't keep them alive for long without teamwork. All in all, wonderful mod.
