Welcome to the Apocalypse like you've never seen it before. ZombieMod is a total conversion of the critically acclaimed Real-Time Strategy Company of Heroes franchise, taking you from the bloody shores and the dense hedgerows of Normandy to the modern day United States during the zombie apocalypse. Control three new factions, the Survivors, the Bandits and the Zombies in intense singleplayer and multiplayer action. ZombieMod contains many new features never before seen in the Company of Heroes series. Can you hold off the undead, or will the thirst for blood overwhelm you? You decide!

ZombieMod offers many new exciting features such as:

  • Three brand new factions, Survivors, Bandits and Zombies
  • Brand new setting
  • Two different doctrine systems
  • New resource system and teching systems
  • New game modes

Q: When can I play the mod?
A: Patience is a virtue. Even the developers do not know when the mod will be released. We will announce the release well before, so don't worry about that.

Q: What do I need to play?
A: In addition to the requirements for regular Company of Heroes, ZombieMod requires either Opposing Fronts or Tales of Valor and the latest patch to play.

Q: What if I like other mods too? Can I have more than one mod installed?
A: Of course, it's easy to have several mods for Company of Heroes ready to go.

Q: Can you add another faction to the game?
A: As of right now, we have no plans on adding additional factions to the mod.

Q: Can I use content from the mod in my mod?
A: With permission from the development team and only after the mod is released to the public.

Q: Sounds cool, is there any way I can help?
A: As of right now, we require dedicated MAPPERS, TEXTURERS, and 3D MODELLERS. Later on we will require translators and beta testers.

Greetings dearest fans!Happy December! I hope that all is well with all of you! I apologize that we haven't been posting much, but I assure that we are still working on the mod. This year has been very rough, and I am heading into final exams, but soon I will be able to work on the mod again. We have some great ideas coming, and we are hoping to get some more gameplay videos soon. Currently, the plan is to focus on getting the Survivor vs Bandit match up working excellently, then we will tackle the zombies. The reason for this is simple; it is tougher to balance two factions that use ranged units and vehicles against each other, so we want to accomplish this before we get the zombies working. Furthermore, we want to get our skills with animating up before we make custom zombie models (!). As you guys are probably aware, December is the time for Mod of the Year voting. Unfortunately I don't have anything yet to present you guys to convince you to vote for us, but you haven't let us down in the past, so we hope you have the same faith in us as you always have.Cheers,The ZM Team

Hey i've got a great idea for the zombie mod to Tales of valor Well its just simlpy a suggestion i would soo love it if you could do this but im not gonna hold my breath just jet -----> Will you be able to make the mod apply 2 the Stonewell and\or assult perhaps wouldent that be awesome??

Alright, from poll results its almost 2:1 that you will do without skins, so i may aswell leak this little bit of information. ATM we're starting to compile beta 3, we almost had it done about 3 weeks ago, but we had a rather critical error appear. so i'm afraid to say we're having to dig through the whole mod piece by piece to find what the cause is, whilst this may seem like a problem, this also allows us to do a bug fix simultaneously, however unfortunately this could turn out to be a quite lengthy process, so you could very well have all the skins in beta 3 anywho. I do have a rather good piece of news tho, from about the 3rd-12th Oct I have time off work (had to cancel my holiday, new computer :p) which means, if beta 3 isnt out by then. You can probably expect it by the 12th ;)

Hopefully you can nail this bug soon.
Another reason to release to the public, even without weapon skins, is we can then bug test it for you. That way when your working on a patch for the textures or however you plan on adding them in later you can also fix any problems we come across.
