Hey guys! Are you excited? Are you ready for zombies? Well, they're not ready yet, so in the mean time, let's talk about what's going on behind the scenes of ZombieMod.
The team is currently at the strongest point ever. We have so many members that I have to write them out here for you to acknowledge. First, lets start with the originals. Geolol5, Sirpsychoj, and myself are the originals. Geolol doesnt do much anymore, but he still contributes enough from time to time to be considered on board lol. Sirpsychoj is our chief SCAR coder, the scripts that create missions, cool features, and everything normal modding can't do. Next, we have Aidas2, Uccido, and DemoSS. Aidas2 and Uccido skin, make, and import models. They're responsible for those awesome new guns ingame. DemoSS is our best skinner. A lot of the infantry is compliments of him. I'd also like to mention wiseone9, Angelic, MrScruff, and blademastercr. Without them, a lot of where we are now would not have been possible.
Now, in case you didn't know, Company of Heroes is one of the hardest games to mod. When Relic released the game, they promised mod tools. Well, they came out, but were so absymal that they were pulled before they were out a few hours! However, a few lucky people grabbed the files, and saved them for us. Corsix created the ModStudio, the most important tool for modding.
Right now, our mod is going through some major breakthroughs. Getting animated weapons ingame, and vehicles is a huge step in the right direction. Since Eastern Front did this already, it doesnt seem to be a big deal. But trust me, it is. We are also looking around through other areas, including sounds, custom campaigns, and other features.
Maybe you're asking yourself, "gee, this is cool, but I just want a beta already!" Let me address this right now. We are working as hard as we can for a bunch of guys that live all around the world. It isn't easy coordinating between Australia, the USA, Europe, and Russia. So, we're doing the best we can. Also, these amazing breakthroughs take time. So, I promise, we will have a beta this fall.
Peace out, and enjoy the pictures!
