ZombieMod takes a unique approach on the Zombie Apocalypse by putting it in the perspective of a military commander, not a survivor. Since it is 2 years after the first infections, resistance on the east coast is organized, resulting in battles rather than small groups fighting for survival.

lookin pretty sick. the hummers gonna be fragile like a jeep or what? not really seein how the zombies can kill a vehicle but lookin forward to seein how they do.
HMMWV, as with all vehicles, will use a "gas" system, where they have a timer for how long they can move. So, once it runs out of gas, you gotta refuel, which exposes you to zombies. Also, main gun will use an ammo system, where after so many bursts you gotta reload
think ill just take the easy way out, and give the MG a massive reload time :p

you know what would be pretty cool but im sure its been thought of is a vehicle like on some movies with shield type stuff. barb wire on the grill an sandbags an just stuff like that. jus make the vehicles that are suppose to be more armored look a little more heavy duty an bad a** jus to give it that nice little touch. idk how possible what im sayin is cuz im not talented in this area. anyway jus throwin something out there.
very possible, we're just focusing on having the units ingame and next beta released before we go for goodies
o trust me i understand. like i said i have no idea how much effort this consists of and i understand you have lives outside of makin cool things for us to enjoy but jus throwin somethin for u guys to mess with when u are ready =)

sounds pretty cool wit the refuel and reload system. makes it more tense if ur encountering tons of zombies an that happens to you. sweet stuff guys.
I like it but is the car not a little small in relation to turret
HMMWV is alot larger now, chassis comparable to sherman, as for face shield, thats kinda small in comparison to most of the things attached to hummers these days lol
I recently thought about that south african vehicle anti-hijack system, the flamethrower one. I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement this but how about making that one of the upgrades? Basically you can upgrade almost every vehicle so that it'll have a flamethrower system built under the vehicle so that when it's activated, a burst of flame (short ranged) come out of the vehicle incinerating friend and foe alike. Say it feeds off the fuel of the vehicle so that when you activate it, it'll be damned deadly but it'll make you run outta fuel that much faster.
OMG. ive heard about that thing. although i believe they are illegal in america, so it kinda rules them out... for now :p but that is one hell of an idea
the turret looks oversized copmpared to the vehicle...
