ZombieMod takes a unique approach on the Zombie Apocalypse by putting it in the perspective of a military commander, not a survivor. Since it is 2 years after the first infections, resistance on the east coast is organized, resulting in battles rather than small groups fighting for survival.

Oooooo....pretty. So this will be a sort of more mobile, more firepower, more versatile mortar team? Or will they not be able to hit as hard as a ordinary mortar, just have a higher rate of fire since there are 2 of them?

They are more mobile, which is balanced out by them having a shorter range. They can fire three different types of rounds depending on your needs.

You guessed well. They will serve as a more mobile 'light mortar' team. Explosive punch over longer ranges. Range and punch is sacrificed to make room for better rate of fire, accuracy and mobility compared to a traditional mortar. This is a little rough around the edges for now as we will tweak them accordingly to the results of testing. Glad you like them :).

Instead of getting a traditional mortar, Bandits get indirect fire support from a squad armed with two modified M79 "Thumper" grenade launchers that can fire three different types of ammo.
