Zombie Master 2 is a multiplayer RTS/ FPS hybrid utilizing Valve's Source 2013 engine. Players are thrust into the middle of a zombie apocalypse, forced to search the remnants of their world for weapons and equipment in order to remain alive. One player is freed from the weak flesh of his peers. A being of limitless power, he controls the grotesque hordes of undead in a constant battle against what is left of humanity. His name is spoken only in whispers, for fear of drawing his attention. For once his gaze is upon you, the true test begins.

May 2010, the unofficial Orange Box patch development began. For an entire month, 113 files were ported over to Source 2007. More than 250,000 lines of codes. When the port was complete and thoroughly tested by the Zombie Master forums, it didn't stop there. A rag tag team of developers, better identified as ZM fans themselves, got together and wanted to make something out of the patch. So we did. Without further ado:
Q: Will there be patches? If so, when?
A: Of course. Either next month or by the end of second quarter.
Q: What content is final in Zombie Master 2? Some of it looks a little wonky...
A: As far as we're concerned, none of it. We still want to replace most of it as well as update our own content.
Q: Will there be new zombie/player models?
A: If we attract the right developers, yes.
Q: When will the linux dedicated server be released?
A: Yes, by the next patch.
Q: There appears to be missing content that was mentioned in a previous news article.
A: I'm afraid some developers were unable to send their work. If we're able to gather up the rest of their work by the next patch, it will be included.
