A complex of connected warehouses, much like a large industrial area.

Hi KojaK,

I was wondering if you'd be able to use Left 4 Dead Models in your mod. Your mod is exactly what I wished the Left 4 Dead games had as another mode of gameplay. Looking forward to your next podcast. :)

It could be possible, seeing as how they're both Source games. The problem is I'm only allowed access to the 2007 engine's code, and L4D runs on a much newer version. The files themselves are even kept in a different archive format.

So if I'm not able to mount the files themselves, I'd need to extract them and then add them to my mod... which sadly is illegal.

Trust me, I knew from the start if I could have made this mod off of Left 4 Dead, I would have.

I wouldn't like that idea. I don't have L4D and I'm looking forward to seeing no errors in this game /:

Well the good news is I was simply answering a question. This is a mod for Half Life 2 Deathmatch, no other games required.

Couldn't you set it so it used .mdl files for models?
