Podcast 003: Feature Length - Mod DB 

Literally an hour after recording this I fixed the zombie spawning problem, which actually cleaned and fixed up the wave system tremendously.

As I upload this, I just realized that I mentioned releasing a version without mentioning any kind of time frame. The answer to that is really... I don't know. As it stands, the alpha version is actually done. The work I'm doing from now until the 15th is just bug-fixing. It's so unstable right now I'm actually really lucky it didn't crash on me. I should have an idea after the meetup as to when it will be stable enough for a release, so I'll keep everyone posted.

Finally, as to when the next podcast is scheduled: I'm planning to do another one a day or two after the meetup. I'll be doing a lot of analysis the few days after, just trying to work out how long it will take me to get the project ready for an initial release.

Last point (I promise) I just want to thank everyone who's been following the project. I know 200 followers isn't much, but it's enough to amaze me. The response has been nothing but support, and I just wanted to let everyone know it's very much appreciated.

So I'll see you guys in about two weeks!

Ok, this might sound silly but is there a way to link Munitions as a resource to the actual ammo the player has? In the video you ran out of smg ammo pretty fast but if there was a way of using say, 5-10 Munitions resource to make a box of smg ammo or using Munitions plus Scrap to make guns then players could resupply the area on the left with guns and ammo by scavenging the map.

Conversely, any spare ammo you pick up could be converted into Munitions for you to use later.

On the map, making the outside of the buildings look less square and regular by adding ledges, window indents, pipes, etc will greatly enhance the look. I love the storytelling you've put in already on the insides.

Thanks! I'm surprised that the map turned out as well as it did honestly... I'm not very good with Hammer XD

As far as turning munitions into ammo, that's actually something I'm working on at the moment. I hadn't actually thought of turning ammo into munitions though, that's not a bad idea at all.
