Zombie Apocalypse: Psychosis Rising Game-play- Non-Linear RPG type first person shooter. Players will have to decide whether they should work together to survive or chance it on their own. Friendly and Enemy NPC interaction with mini missions and tasks. Maps with missions. Maps will be connected through transition points so it gives the feel of one big world. Maps- All types of landscapes ranging from cities to farmlands and everything inbetween! Weapons- A nice variety of realistic weapons to curve your destructive appetite ranging from a brick to a combat knife, to a machete, and on to the guns! Weapons will be placed around maps very smartly. You wont find guns just spawned anywhere, but then again our save system allows you to disconnect and come back later with the same weapons and ammunition!
good can u go in shops??
Most buildings will be enterable
Are you going to be using the Episode 2 engine? At the moment it looks like you're using the original Source engine (judging by the fire). I really would recommend the Episode 2 engine, it has so many good features that would be utilised well in a zombie mod (jiggle bones for stumps where arms have been shot off, phong over blood etc.)
Yes, we're using the original right now and going to be using a more updated engine later on ;)
Spike, its good that you will be using the updated version later, but why not now? Why build your maps in the original Source engine, when you know they're later on going to be ported to orangebox engine, because this may only cause problems, by porting, so its best to start from the start on orangebox engine.
For using the updated engine (episode 2).
Would you have to have the game episode 2 to run the engine, if that's the case, then I know a lot of people that don't have the episode 2 game, so you would lose players, and I myself don't have it.
But I suppose if the mod was impressive enough I'd get it, and of course to finish the half-life story.
Nah, I'm pretty sure you only need Sorce sdk base to run it, not the actual ep2 game.
thats good to hear cuz i dont have ep2 either :D
