Time has come for more updates !!!, thanks to SysOp this MOD have arise from the ashes just to reborn more powerful than ever. Now Zion Warcry´s a matter of the ARES development team ( a new formed Group on Moddb ).
The project was closed the last year 2008 because of technical problems that couldn´t be fixed. The new enemies, maps, etc ,were all stopped in their development, just letting some of them being non discarded because of their quality.
zion Warcry will finally be released as soon as some of its bugs are fixed and the zion map is finished with all the look and action seen in the original Matrix movie.
Version 2.0 it´s WIP actually. The v.2.0 is more a 95% coding and 5% modelling and mapping. It will take a little to be finished but expect very impressive things!!! This video down here was made with elements of this last version but IT´s not made with the actual version, v2.0 has a lot more new things. ;)

Zion Warcry v1.0 is still available for all of you to be downloaded. Version 2.0 is WIP but we are working hard to make its release be possible.
This version has some bugs that will be fixed, other things probably never be done, but, who knows...
What will be present is the full sensation of being fighting the sentinels like in the Matrix Revolutions movie, that will be for sure !!

i have steam and yes i install the path for steam and with i create a server it crash's help!
I have no idea about how to fix STEAM problems, McConnard did the patch ages ago and didn´t know if in www.vossey.com still supports this pacth ( MacConnard is a french programmer ).
Try to put your problem there, I hope they´ll answer you. ;)

Impressive mod! but when i run the game some transparent objects in the game such as the cables show blue colour around them instead of being transparent. by the way...is it ok if i link my own ZWC sound pack for u guys? hehe... i've improved the sounds such as the gun fire, arm movements, steps..etc... to match the real movie..Probably i'll try adding the song from the actual Zion scene too..lol)

The problem with the blue parts is caused by two dlls which must be in the #:\sierra\half-life directory, lok for them in your zwc folder, probably they´re just there ;)
And for the sound upgrade feel free to send it to us !!, in fact, if they like us, you´ll be on credits too ( in the intro avi )
I must admit that I have left the project a bit abbandoned, but I´m still working on little parts.

Oh yah..and as someone in this post said that the game is not playable in lower resolutions, im having a bit of lag too... especially when im facing at the towers. Suggestions i have are:
-Turret tracers should be reduced
-The sentinels are really flying too fast
-AI needs brushing up
-The Ascari digger acts weird after falling to the ground. opens and closes its legs every once in a while
-APU movespeed too slow
-APU models need pilots/movements need improvement
-Sounds (i'm working on some of it..hehe)
well...those are the things that i've noticed so far in the game...these are just my opinions. well, i know it's hard making a good mod...lots of trial and error along the way..cause i've tried making mods myself...and I honor the efforts put into making this mod. "Salute"!

PS: and keep on developing this game, dont abandon it yet...this mod has good potential..just a little bit more work on it and its going to be perfect!
-I´ll keep those tracers low to a minimum acceptable ;)
-Also, SysOp ys working on the sentinel´s AI, so expect very realistic behaviour
-Sorry for the brushing part, but made the map with brushes is almost impossible because it won´t compile ( I´ve tried so far in the first version of the mod, I swear :( )
-Ascari diggers have no AI at all...they only fall and die, making two idle positions. SysOp will work on they too.
-APU movement is taken from the movies ( 2.5 mt per second +/- ), also the animations are taken from the "real" APUs, I´m sorry this part couldn' t be modified...
-APU models got pilots !! take a look to the new pictures of the MOD.
This and more thing will be upgraded in the v2.0.

nah...u'r english's fine... and by the way..i missed that photo of the re-modeled APU with the pilot...lolz. well...too bad for the apu movespeed tho...i find it hard to reach the armories in time before the sentinels start closing in on me.. (or maybe they knew im out of ammo? hahahah)
oh yah...can i know how do u change the console image? cuz im working on my own mod and i have totally no idea how to do it...
Yea i know. we just have a lot of things planned for it. trying to make it in depth like ns but simple like any fps that doesnt require brains
