The Rocket Buggy has always played an important part in the GLA military. The ability to lay down high volumes of damage and be out of the area before anyone notices, makes this unit one of the most feared in the GLA arsenal. However once they are pinned to a corner, the Rocket Buggy simply lacks adequate protection against direct conflict. In light of this the Rocket Quad was born. Sacrificing speed for firepower and armor, the rocket quad proved more effective against direct combat situations, especially at full salvage level.
