first of all, we are terribly sorry for the lack of updates, and we feel that we owe you an explanation. Early in 2012, we had a very promising perspective on getting a "foot in the door" to achieve both funding and technical support for this game. Unfortunately, these plans did not work out, so we found ourselves back to square one and more or less had to start thinking and planning it all over again.
By now, the situation has improved a little, as there are alternative solutions taking shape. In the past months, we have been working on:
- code
- character models
- levels
- props
- animations
- music, and
- sound.
We're also very happy to announce that two new members have joined our team: Jamie Keen, a sound designer from the UK, and Patrick Hödl, a prop/texture artist from Austria.
You can see some of his work above, as he is the creator of the streamline locomotives shown in the newspaper.
For the next weeks, we hope to achieve another set of milestones in the development of Zeitgeist; we can't make any promises, but there is reason to believe that we can finish this project succesfully after all.
Thanks to all of you for your support and patience,
the Zeitgeist staff

I Ma REBOAREN!
I remember messaging you guys more than a year ago saying I wanted to animate the mod, hah, good times right? *gives you an extremely depressive look followed by a long sigh*
Til, sn1pe is the guy with the great youtube videos/ machinima ;)
Unfortunately we try to keep our team german-speaking, because from earlier experience, we noticed communication problems with non-german team members... But you're nontheless a great animator, have you worked on any other projects in the meanwhile?
Okay, I see.
But still - sorry if we didn't give you any feedback. Usually we try to answer everybody. And yes, it's true, for the core of the dev team we try to go with German speaking developers, as all of our design-, story- and content documents - more than 800 (!) pages - would require translation, and some of our team members aren't excellent english speakers, which is a huge problem when it comes to working out finest details in sketching/modeling/animation... etc.
Cheers,
Til
Hi Sn1pe, didn't you at least get an answer? If so, I'm truly sorry & apologize for that right away. Sometimes, messages and applications just slip our attention. There's a lot going on really :X.
Cheers, Til
