Hello all,
First and foremost let me thank you all for supporting the mod so far and we look forward to sharing some of our secrets with you soon!! I realise that it has been nearly a year since we actually posted a news update and I for one would like to get back on the horse and use this system to get a bit more information out there, that sometimes gets lost in the comments below. However as you know a lot of work has been going on :D

At the moment we are currently sorting out a major issue with one of our new game concepts which will hopefully be solved within a week. This will then allow us to offer a short sneak preview of some of the work that we have been doing and what you can expect to be doing in the future.

So stay tuned!

Hey Burntstrobe, jut wondering if you've considered implementing a similar feature to the one used in ICW where you can send individual units into Hyperspace. I thought that would be pretty useful for saving important units but still allowing the rest of your fleet to fight the enemy. Just a thought.
Also that Galaxy map looks amazing, keep up the good work :D

The Super Star Wars mod had this actually, where some of the smaller ships like Nebulon Bs had an ability that they could go back into hyperspace, and you could call them back in later. It didn't always work, though, and the ships got healed fully.

Still, it was fun as hell to use.

That would be cool but definitely make it so they can't return to battle or at least not at full health. It would definitely bring a whole new dynamic to the game because you could attack in waves. I've been secretly hoping some one figures this one out because I hate having to retreat my whole force to save one important ship I don't want to lose.

If you can't do that maybe you can make ships do a micro jump (power to engines ability on steroids). Make the speed significantly higher but the duration very short so it's like the ship is doing a short jump in hyperspace to quickly get into or out of the thick of the battle. It wouldn't be as cool as completely retreating from battle but it would be easier to code and accomplishes a similar goal.

Dovin basals are finished, we apologize for the delay on the video, but we are finishing up several other projects.

This is for something much bigger....

And dovin basals work 100% as you would expect and hope them to. It really is some genius coding by Wariscool, we hope to get the video back on track soon.
