So, we have lots of projects in the works. We have collaborated with some of the most talented minds in this community and all our coding projects have been solved theoretically. We are not approaching an implementation and testing phase, but we need some help from anyone out there who is XML savy.
We know exactly what we need to have done, but we have a lot to do. If anyone out there is familiar with XML coding and is just sitting around, come join us. Any assistance helps us finish faster.

Well, we all knew it was going to hapen with that new sequels, I have to admit that I really hoped them to make the new films in a way not conflicting with the EU, but it seems that they have taken the easiest way. Even expecting it, it is sad to know that the work of so many writers it's now considered uncanon in the star wars universe. Anyway this is not the first time that authors works conflict with the canon, the clone wars actually conflicted with the expanded universe in things such as Barris Offee, Mandalore and the return of darth Maul. Even if im not pleased I think that Wariscool is right and that making things uncanon is not deleting them.

Geroenimo, Disney imho is the worst thing to happen to Star Wars in the last decade :(

Terrible games open more possibilities for modding... we all still play FoC right? Despite its very obvious flaws in balancing, canon and models, it is still played, thanks to us :) is there still a similar fanbase for Republic Commando? Bad as LucasArts may have been, that doesn't mean less enjoyment comes out of the game.

I don't really think it is morally justified to write off so much EU just so Disney can make more money...

KOTOR was pretty good too, SWTOR is decent and 1313 lucasarts along with force unleashed btw I heard they no longer want to continue 1313 which is supposed to be epic although that's speculation and I am unsure about it.

but i think that even if the games are crapy it doesnt means that it will be easy to make mods or even possible, new gen games are very anti mods from what i noticed in some of them. well yes there are mods, but they aint as good as the ones for other games its usually more of an graphic improve or minor changes, with exceptions of course

I disagree, Lucas Arts/film whatever or who ever was running the show after the Trilogy finished had pretty much run their course, I think everyone is jumping the gun a little bit, because all we know are a few unconfirmed rumours that things might change. Honestly we know that most of the original cast will be old in the new films... that's it!
Besides Disney owns Marvel which still manages to be awesome...

Disney made all the classic films, and they still make awesome movies, but for some reason people are bitching about them taking over star wars, I honestly have no idea why...

Whaaa...

That's the first time I've seen someone say he's happy to have crappy games come out. Yeah, I can't say anything back to that really, that sounds really...weird to me.

The only thing I could possibly try to say to that is that I actually like to enjoy the games I play. Modding can happen to good games too.

If that's the only argument (I like bad games because I can mod them) to the "disney is bad for star wars" discussion then I guess I'll have to defend my opinion elsewhere.
