Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
The Yuuzhan Vong Shipwomb.
This is something that is pretty special to us. Concept developed by Seregruth and myself, amazingly modeled by Warb, this is our work-in-progress Vong Shipwomb.
For those who are unaware, when the Vong wish to make capital ships, they first need a shipyard. The Vong create their shipyards by destroying a planet and planting Dread Weapon worms and Dovin Basals on the inner core, then begin creating their capital ships from the remains of the planet.
This is the size of a planet, and will be animated. It is not finished yet, but it is getting closer to being done.

There should be a limit of capital ships u can build. Because, the planet disapears. That would be cool. Like u gotta a limit of capital ships u can build and to continue, u gotta conquer another planet
That is a good idea but dont forget that the Yuuzhan Vong still had forces in transit through the void beetween galaxies - and 1 planet gives a lot of ships :)
We have very detailed plans for balancing, no side will be too powerful.

This poses a question.
In a space skirmish, how would one go about getting a capital ship? Would there be "planets" or "planetary cores" floating around on the map for Yuuzhan Vong use? (I don't mean the fights in GC, I mean skirmish MODE)
The main focus of the mod is Galactic Conquest. We do have plans for a series of other GC mini campaigns, and skirmish missions later, but this is way after the main Galactic Conquest is completed.
And to answer your question, for a skirmish map the vong do have a smaller shipyard, worldships are mobile shipyards and some maps there will be the ability to perform a Yo'Gand's Core.
