Description
All models feature Ambient Occlusion, but for now we have omitted Shadow Meshes.
All images are taken directly from within using the .aloViewer, for we do not take doctored photos from within 3DsMax.
We want to assure our fans, that what you see here, is exactly what you will see in the game.

I take the screenshots, and then bring them into Photoshop to crop the images for presentation values. When showing many photos, i may apply Sharpen just once, but this is done when i show many pictures and their quality has been reduced due to making the file size smaller for uploading to Mod DB.
To add, the ALO viewer is a great tool but the way it processes textures is different than how they appear in-game. Without getting too technical, textures that appear farther away or at odd angels often appear blurry or low-res in the ALO viewer so using sharpen isn't a "cheap" way to artificially enhance your work but actually shows a more accurate image. :)
Thanks for an answer on shadow meshes though ;) Amazing that in particular, the shading under the control tower is actually just texture work. Good stuff!

And btw, use Xnormal (it's free on the web) to render your AO. Save it as a PNG file, import into photoshop, change layer blend mode to MULTIPLY, then make sure this layer is at the top of your layer list in your texture file. Flatten and export your .dds file.
This is how we learned to get AO maps to work with aloViewer ;)
