First I want to thank Burntstrobe for alowing me to post my models on his mod page now that eeaw is gone.
It will get a lot more exposure here than on my profile page

I totally agree. Two Star Wars universes turned out better than I thought it would! Now all we need is a good Force Awakens mod...

Just bought a little model of the Resurgent class. It is a great looking SD and would love to see one made for this game.
I thought Strobe was about to take the **** out of The Farce Awakens somehow.
No disrespect to Warb ofcourse, it's a great model.
The craft reminds me of something belonging to the old republic.
Very detailed and crisp mode. Not to mention the skin. Love it, Warb!

I don't see why everyone gives the new star wars flak it was a decent movie at best but maybe that's just the fan speaking inside of me at least it wasn't like the prequels and I like the idea of clones wars just not the movie with all the cgi. I would kind of like to see a FA mod for FOC. I think it would be nice
Because the majority of fans here are dedicated to upholding the lore of the expanded universe, despite whether the movie was good or not. We stand to remember the EU, not just dismiss it and our years of supporting it by relegating it to only a dream or "legend".

The movie wasn't the best when compared to the original star wars movies.
But, I believe that the purpose was for it to create a setting for the upcoming movies.
A new hope was made as a standalone movie since they did not know if there wasn't gonna be a sequel or not.
But here, they can make the best setting of characters and events for the upcoming movies, which might make the first a little decent(er) but the next is (hopefully) going to be a lot better.
Sorry for my rambling, I'm tired ;)
Anyways, what do you guys think?
I don't mind the new lore, and believe they are combining many fan favorite ideas together to create a new setting for the future. The First Order can easily be seen as a combination of the Emperor Reborn and the Chiss Empire of the Hand for example.
But the movie itself was garbage imo, just a horrible production with flashy special effects. I expected so much more from Abrams, but I hated the new movie. I felt it was shallow and superficial with bad acting, except for the girl jedi, she was the saving grace of the film. Just my personal opinions.
I love the idea of you guys Helping warb show of his models somewhere now everything EAW is gone, but wouldn't it be easier if he had his own separate moddb page ? (like a blank mod page or even a open group page)
He already has one, but we want to help give him as much exposure for his work as possible, for we want to be center of sw modding for everyone, and Warb pretty much allowed everyone to have material for modding, and has been the strongest example free release material.
Warb has also been a member of our team since we first founded the mod, so we are honored to support him, and have given him his own blog here as well.

Cool idea and was wondering when one would spring up. Guess right now for space you pretty much have that new star destroyer and X-wings and Tie Fighters. Sure hope the next movie gets some more big ships and would love to see them go at it. I hope they don't just keep it to fighter action through all the movies not to say the fighter scenes weren't exciting. Guess it took till the 3rd movie to see big ship battles in the original and prequel trilogies so I better get used to waiting.
