Everyone please give thanks to Revan for this texture, he's worked hard learning how to mimick my texture style, and has done a tremendous job with this.

TIE/ln fighter is 9 m long. 13.3333 TIE/ln are as long as the 120 m DP20, so we have scaled the fighter to be as accurate as possible. This is how it will appear in the game.

Everyone please give thanks to Burntstrobe! I am very happy to have the chance of learning all of this. Without him I would probably not be part of this team and miss a lot of great experiences that I made during the last years.

No words can explain the expertise and skill of what I just witnessed...

I hate to break it to you, but that's not a tie interceptor, unless I've completely missed how the naming system works with the abbreviations. Which is admittedly, more likely.

Its "LN", not "IN" in title of image, just not capital letters

LN = line
IN = interceptor

Confusing imperial bureaucrats are confusing.

Ah, that makes even more sense.

TIE/ln means TIE Line, or the standard TIE Fighter.
TIE/in is for the Interceptor.
It's a very common mistake and confusing which is why TIE/ln is usually capitalized to TIE/LN although it kills consistency.

Revan has become your new apprentice to texturing.
You've teached him how to use photoshop & how to use Quixel. That's cool, big congrats to him for his texture which is amazing.

But did you teach him the true path of the Force ?

Description

so, a large part of this modding team is the learning and teaching to others. The core foundation of our team is that we are constantly here to assist one another, teach one another, and learn from each other. I listen to every bit of advise I have received from my mentors such as Warb, Farseer and Zerox, and in turn, I teach and assist others. Wariscool and Sacer help everyone with coding and teach each other newly learned discoveries daily, Seregruth, Kharcov and Jeroenimo had taught me modeling, and I have taught everyone a thing or 2 about textures, most recent, Revan.

Revan has become my new apprentice to texturing. I have spent the last 2 weeks working mostly with him, teaching him not only how to use photoshop, but also how to use Quixel. The TIE/ln fighter, which we are very happy and proud of, is Revan's first official texture for the mod. It looks awesome. It is the greatest experience to be able to learn something, become good at, and then pass it on and see it done just as well, and hopefully better in time. Congratulations Revan, this looks killer, and I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the TIE fighters, great job man :)
