For those anxiously awaiting the Viscount, a small glimpse of the forward arsenal. You may notice the triple barrel heavy long range turbos and heavy ion turrets.

Nebulon B and CR90 displayed to accurate scale for game use.

Coming soon...

This is beautiful.

will the ships have firepower values to be accurate with in-universe like ICW or will it be completely based on the weps it is equipped with, like vanilla does?

All weapons are equally scaled throughout the mod to our judgment. After viewing the turret idea first portrayed by Fractal Sponge we have adopted his philosophy. All Ships will have some form of turret weapon. All turrets are equally scaled, so the tiple barrel heavy long range turbo you see here is the same size as the on on the MC80B; the Heavy Ion turret here is the same seen on the Corellian ships and liberator carrier and so forth.

We will be adhering to weapon layouts suggested by Star Wars Wiki, but for the sake of an enjoyable gaming experience, we will be taking our own liberties with weapon counts so that the game is fun to play, and a player does not have to individually destroy 10,000 turbo laser hard points.

I assume they'll make them all non-targetable, that way you can use however many hardpoints you want. I have 53 turrets on my isd model and it works amazingly. Only problem is that you then when you target a ship, the firing ships will shoot at the root of the ship, not the entire thing itself.

In my experience it is best to make some targetable and some not. This then gives something to shoot at, but without to many targets. Most of my anti-fighter hard points are not targetable.

Funny you should say that, I did my own voiceover and names for the Viscount on Thrawn's Revenge, and there are Loads of references to fish in it... For example, I have named most of the Viscounts "The Kipper". Just for lols...

Its maybe 5% or even less percent of the whale but its already fantastic!

I ask me how vong or hutts will react when they look at that....mouth O.o

How will the viscount perform compared to the classic executor, inquistor ssd, secutor mk2 and assertor/megador(i saw on one picture of your mod that assertor will be called megador because of canon)? Did i forget any confirmed ssd? :D

statistically, the Viscount would probably win.
there is a 20 year gap between the two classes, and the Viscount is probably a bit more advanced in the technology department.

i can see her guns being a bit stronger than the Executor, coupled to better fire control systems, and likely better sensors.

Mon Cal engineering has apparently allowed for a better and stronger hull and shielding suite.

she has a better Hyperdrive engine allowing her to cover distances faster, and then there are the fighters.

the standard compliment of an Executor is said to be 144 TIE-series fighters at all times (not counting the "Fully loaded" of thousands on the wookie page).
figure that half of these are standard TIE/Ln's, 36 Interceptors, and 24 Bombers. pretty much double of an Endor-era ISD.

Viscount is stated on the Wookie page to have 216 fighters. 60 A3 X-wings, 12 J model X-wings, and 48 each of the A-wings, B-wings, and E-wings, which are also likely upgraded somewhat.

not only does Viscount have more fighters, but they are better and can be used to make strikes against the Executor, thanks to their Missiles and Torpedoes, thus increasing the offensive punch of the Viscount.

it might be close but a Viscount has the edge, and in a one-on-one fight, would likely win.

The Viscount was designed to combat SSD. It has longer ranged weapons and stronger armor/shields. SSD like the Executor have more powerful turbos, but less powerful ion weaponry. SSD Do have more more weapons however. Viscount carry more fighters.

Head to head, without fighters, the Viscount would probably win vs a SSD.

So I had this with the mediator, but now I really have to ask as this thing has the same amount of detailing and for example, turrets, too. What happened to the "you wont be able to see the detail once zoomed in"?

G.....

As mentioned, only the heavy ion turrets and heavy long range turbos are visible on large ships. These turrets are 2-3x the size of a heavy turbo laser turret, and 5x the size of a medium turbo turret. They are allowed to be visible.

Due to the massive size of the ship, all other weapons can be allowed to be housed internally inside weapon ports.
