An old relic of a a heavily armored ship, the Kessel Mining Frigates were a thick armored design allowing navigation amongst the asteroids. 4 circular service bays allowed mining shuttles to dock while 4 smaller hanger bays allowed smaller craft to transport supplies.
Long since retired from service since the days of orbital mining around Kessel have ceased, and number of these ships have been captured by Pirates and coverted to slow moving artillery barges used to ambush the trading lanes.

Who doesn't love antenna's.
The tubes in the front section are torpedo launch tubes, 4 on each side, 2 facing forward out of the bow. 6 Mass Driver turrets mounted on the flanks with a Heavy Dual Laser turret mounted on the belly makes up the heavy weapons of this ship.

It's actually the Phoenix the Teladi Destoryer and I have always loved this thing.
I have loves the Teladi even sence I first played Beyond the Frontier
Same although I came in to the series around X3Tc 2.5 (a bit late haha) I own them all the games threw the super box on steam.
and I always felt the Teladi ships had the most detail of any of the races ship design the antenna the spikes junting out all the plates that make them throw together but at the same time are the sexiest ships cause of their sheer spartan ultility that said I am still a old softy for the Argon Titan destoryer as it was my first ever captialship.
On a side note to keep from derailing the comments too much any chance your Sith Destoryer will make it into here? maybe have it as like a easter egg or only found on a Sith world and you only get like one.
