MC80 Liberty included only for comparison.

Hutt Overview, Part 1:

The idea for the Hutts is that they will have a slow start, essentially starting off with only a few small Huttese ships used for border patrol. The main defense of Nal Hutta will be the aging armada of Azalus MK 1 dreadnaughts. The Azalus is a very old, slow moving ship, that had relative decent shielding and extremely strong armor. It was also easy to modify, and served as an excellent weapon's platform, easily upgraded to house modern weaponry.

At the start of the War, the Hutt faction will rely on making diplomatic agreements with its neighbors. There is an uneasy truce between the New Republic and the Hutts, so the New Republic will actually be penalized if it attacks Hutts space due to the treaty. The Hutt player will also be allied with the Vong at the beginning of the War as well. This will allow the Hutt faction time to gather resources and begin researching ship technology.

Tech 1-3, the Hutt player will be mainly focused on researching technology in order to advance to the next tech period. With each tech research completion, much more powerful and modern Hutt ships will become available. The Vong however, are aware, and after each tech advancement, they will demand a credit tribute in order to maintain their truce. The Hutt player will always be forced to decide to save money to fend off the Vong, or invest in building up defense forces to combat the New Republic. If the Hutts invade New Republic space, the NR will attack, and avoiding NR space is hard, when the huge temptation of Corellia and Centerpoint Station is so close, a weapon which will be key to the Hutts Rule of the Galaxy.

The initial Hutt fleet will be mostly composed of small ships, corvettes frigates and cruisers. These are the backbone of the Hutt smuggling and trading. Heavily armed small warships that can dodge the heavy weapons of massive Imperial cruisers. Skillful smugglers and pirates who can fly corvettes and small frigates as if they were strike fighters. The highly maneuverable and overpowered small craft of the Hutts will prove a deadly adversary against New Republic warships.

I'd rather marvel at how the hutt's ships will soon burn above their orbits as the space battles with the Vong, NR, and Empire rages across the galaxy. They better burn nice and pretty.

That looks like the Darksaber in the middle there, is it? Or some other kind of dreadnaught?

Oh, that's kind of hard to track on the phone...

But it's a really shiny picture, you got to admit that.

I can't recall seeing the two light cruiser looking type vessels in-between the Invincible and Bloodstar. It may be just my stupidity in not being able to locate them in previous images. Though if anyone can point them out I would be appreciative.

"the Hutts were a [...] form of corruption"

That's a pretty neat and precise textbook definition of our favourite slugs.

No, and they will not be in the mod.

All ships chosen for this mod are carefully evaluated and chosen for specific, relevant, and canon reasoning.

Hey is there a New Republic/ Galactic Alliance Fleet overview and picture just like this image describing the Hutt fleet?

The closest picture like that would be the image of the 5th fleet. While I'm sure there will be other ships in the GA fleet, unique or otherwise, it's a good comprehensive look similar to this image.

Description

Hutt Fleet: Tech 1-3

The New Republic might control the Senate, the Taxes and police the Law, but the Hutt Empire is the true lifeline of the galaxy...

After the oppressive ruling of the Empire, and amidst the disintegrating order of the corrupt New Republic, the denizens of the galaxy needed to find a way to survive, to make ends meet, and to profit. The Hutt Empire dates back to the origins on of the Galaxy, where there was trade, there were Hutts. Well known for being unfair and corrupt themselves, the Hutts were a known and understood form of corruption... they were at the very least a type of unfairness the people could count on, and depend upon under dire circumstances. Whether it be smuggled weapons, stolen food and aid, or the addictive Spice, the Hutts were a shadow hand, always slightly guiding the course of the Galaxy.
