Description
The "Defender of Kuat", the Longhorn packs a powerful punch and will be seen defending the space ways of the Kuat shipyards.
Concept by Drone, model design by Geroenimo and Burntstrobe.
Never liked the Longhorn-cruiser as much as the other concepts from Drone, but this one really appeals to me. Great job and I can't wait for a nice texture!

Anyway, that´s just the way I look at it. In fact if I tilt my head I can see an amazingly detailed ship.

Well it reminds me of one of those old games with 2D images moving in 3D.

We have actually been accused of "faking" our renders in the past, and being told they are "nothing more than 2D paintings"

Welcome and, really? I agree that would be absurd and malicious to say the least.
But its either they are pessimists themselves or it has not sunk into them that this project is real no matter how amazingly unreal it seems, modders keep pushing the Alamo to its limits which is admirable.
Which reminds me, the team working on this also works on other mods and those mods all cover a different era. I guess it would be too much work to merge them into the ultimate all-era mod would it?

It's a 2D image of a 3D object... so it averages out to 2.5D

ohh me and my strategic mind...
Essentially the ship will be a slow moving, heavy armored gun barge. Don't expect these things to be racing across a battlefield. They will be mobile defensive platforms basically.
Will there be mandators of any class?
