Description
Hero ship of the Mara Jade, and will fly with Luke Skywalker in an X-Wing and will have the special ability of Raymous Antilles from original EAW (lower enemy weapon accuracy).
Model Design: Warb Null
Warb Null is awesome.
Another spectacular and challenging model made by Warb, the Jade Shadow is 55 m in length compared to the 34 m Millenium Falcon and 150 m CR90. Armed with 2 single barreled mounted forward turrets that can rotate and elevate, and twin concussion missile launchers, the Jade Shadow is fast and deadly ship vs fighters.
we have been working on a lot of coding work and research the past month here with the team. Mara Jade and Luke will be a duo pair of Heroes, just like how Han Solo and Chewbacca were a single hero unit in original EAW. We have very big plans for the use of unique heroes and minor heroes in the mod. This will work closely with the Diplomacy System that is also being developed by Wariscool.

Hopefully it will be just like Lando described it when they built it. "By the time we're through with her, the Jade Shadow will put the Falcon to shame."
The way they are put next to each other for comparison, looks like they're about to start a race and suddenly that corvette comes flying next to them like: "sup"
jus wondering, why do you have a countersunk poly for the viewports? won't that make it more effort to texture (vs just texturing the windows on) and from the limitations of the EAW engine vanilla, it's a detail most people won't get to appreciate. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the work you guys have done with the uber detailed models for ships that don't receive the Hsiao treatment and I might just get a program to admire your models out of game; but, I find in large projects (I'm an Electrical engineer btw) that sometimes you need to step back and say "Is this necessary" or "Is this good enough" otherwise I spend time on things people will never notice.
If just one person notices and appreciates the detail, then everything was worth the effort.
For how we texture, this actually makes it easier and more precise.

I've been silently following every updates for the YVAW mod since 2 years, and now I can't keep quiet any longer, this mod is going to be E-P-I-C !

I hope Tie Defenders are superior to Coralskippers in every way (they were considered to be superior to all Rebel craft, and were only surpassed by the Imperial Missile Boat. Btw, how the heck do u guys get all this progress done and RaW doesn't get almost any progress done at all?
