When you realise that the Hutt's power is beyond that of what we already know.
Honestly in the star wars universe, the hutts have long been a shadow hand in the galaxy considering that even many powers like the old republic or even the empire couldn't get rid of them and neither would it prove really useful to do so. For a bunch of slimy slugs they know how to operate and keep things in business and control.
