Description
Main line fighting ship of the Chiss Ascendancy, the Do'Rii served the role of a tactical weapons platform. Featuring 2 hanger bays and an advanced sensor suite, the Do'Rii was armed with 9 dual rapid fire turbos, 5 dual maser turrets and 10 light laser turrets. Often used for blockades or attacking in groups, the Do'Rii was a versatile and deadly ship.

This is one epic looking design of a ship! I especially like the size comparison between the Do'Rii and the flagship. You just think the Do'Rii is big and awesome and then...comes the flagship!

Do'Rii and xiphos are nearly the same size, what's the difference between those then?
The Chiss employ multi-role tasked warships. The Do'Rii has enhanced line of sight and the ability to detect stealth units. It has 2 hangers that house 2 fighter squadrons and 1 bomber squadron. The Do'Rii also feature side mounted missile launchers for broadside fighting. The Xyphos has enlarged hanger space, allowing it to carry 2 fighter squadrons, 1 interceptor squadron and a bomber squadron. The Xyphos has stronger armor, a missle jamming sensor array, and forward firing torpedo launchers.
So, in comparison, the Do'Rii is more of a defensive ship, while the Xyphos plays the dual role of assault carrier/strike torpedo launcher.

How many ships will be in each squadron? Will it be the vanilla 5 for fighters and 3 for bombers or 12 for every squad?

So how many different ships per sub faction? I know many wont have entire armadas of ships but just enough.
That depends on the importance and manufacturing capabilities of each sub faction.
The empire is a sub faction, yet has a vast array of ship types. The Chiss invaded with an armada sizeable to create a galactic war, yet Kubindi and Bakura had only a few ships in comparison.
