The precursor to the Nebulon B
The C-Class Medical Frigate is 30 meters longer than the Nebulon B, with a much larger profile. Although basically unarmed, the ship is fairly rugged, and will be able to provide healing to a wide range on the combat field. Just remember to keep it protected, for it has only a few anti-aircraft gun ports stationed around the hull, and will be a prime target for enemies. Buildable only at Kuat.

Well it is a hospital ship, so repair/heal we sort of just made it the same thing.
Why not just keep Nebulon Ranger as ship repairer, i demand realism!
The reason for multiple ships that perform the same role will be explained later, for this has been given a lot of thought. Don't worry, it will all make sense in the end :)
If u wiki new republic defense fleet, you will notice that the class c med frigate was part of the fleet, so therefore we had to add it.
This ship will also be buildable by the hutts where the nebulon ranger will not be.
Hm, maybe you could add a "heal fighters only"-ability or some kind of a delaying or regulating element, because it would seem not very authentic if such a little ship could heal a giant capital ship. Nonetheless, great work!
Hospital ships will have a slow gradual heal, repair ships (neb ranger, Hajen fleet tender) will repair capital ships quicker or through direct interaction (not passive heal like neb ranger and class c). Fleet tenders/carriers will have fighter only passive heal, such as the endurance and the liberator carrier.
You as the player will need to consider which type of ship is most adequate to your game play style. If you prefer to take your ships and send them all into the fray, use of armed passive healing ships might be better. If you enjoy staged tactics, such as sending in fighters and frigates while long range capital ships hang back to fire artillery shots, direct response repair ships or unarmed passive repair ships will be better. A direct response repair ship where the player has to manually tell the ship to repair a target will always repair faster than a passive repair.
Tactics will be a very important element for this mod. The 3 factions (GA, Vong, Hutt) will play very differently than each other, but we will explain more of this later ;)
You know what? That sounds great. In this case you would also be able to weaken and slowly thin out the enemy, which would be an amazing improvement for gameplay at all.
Don't let the game play but play the game. Sounds like much of fun.
Finally, I don't need to waste time building those repair satellites! XD
