We're working very hard on getting some really cool models done for you guys, unfortunatly skinning them isn't going to quickly, so we're thinking of going back to simpel renders like these for updstes. Personally I've been working hard on finishing the super star destroyers, of which you'll be seeing several in the coming weeks, with or without texture.
Please note all content is currently still a work in progress and all content shown isn't necessarily representative of the final product.

WOW great models guys keep up the great work!
It is nice but...is this not to high poly for ingame? It looks like if you build a lot of ships game might not play good...and people will not want lag. Perhaps you can make models a little less detailed, and skin more detailed? That way the game might run better.
Maybe you should look at the image of the Allegiance and Defender
I can assure you that you'll be able to play with a lot of ships on the field at the same time. I did some more testing recently with higher poly models than the public test, and everything ran fine, my graphics card is a ATI 5770, so a couple of years old, yet I can run without lag, so I assume other older cards will be able to play too.
What's the three largest ships? Not counting the giant TIE Defender.
The Super star destroyer is the Bellator class, the second largest is the Imperial Carrier and then the Allegiance class is the third largest.
No Asserator? The Bellator is kinda big considering the fact that its only a bit over 3 times the size of the Allegiance. So, when will we be seeing some NR stuff?
We've got the Annihilator to replace the Assertor. Ofcourse sized down, we're making it to be only 15 km rather than 28.5. We liked it's design better, and it's similar. The Bellator is 7.200 M long, while the Allegiance is 2.200 M, that means with the perspective the bellators front would be way in front. They're up to scale, it's just the perspective messed up the size ratios. Top down they all match though.

Nice work. I could be confused, but did the Empire have very many SSDs left during the Vong invasion? I always thought they were pretty much all destroyed or stolen, and that Imperial power had weakened pretty significantly by the time of the vong invasion?
yeah, but where's the fun in an imperial fleet without SSDs?
This will all be explained in due time, this has been thoroughly thought out and planned.

You should add in the construction of Lucrehulks for the Imperials, but limited to like 5.
They had a couple militarized ones that acted as carriers/flight schools. None were confirmed destroyed, I believe.
what was that you said about being defeated?
