Everyone likes christmas no?
Yeah... the gifts.. the big tree.. the roaring fire!
Then again, there are the parents... the hugs... the crappy presents, the "sure to be radioactive" fruitcake, the old arguments coming back over and over again!
Thus, the use for this mod.
Xmas is a way to bring christmas... into Half-Life!
Everything in HL is replaced with christmas themed stuff. The 2d art, the models, the sounds, everything is changed!
So now, when your mad because of your ol' grandma coming to hug you and kiss your face, you can relax!... by shooting off a few grenades and blowing the crap out of your enemies!
Xmas: "Santa's coming to town!... and he's packin' heat!"

Working on Xmas was awesome.
Even now, having finished my game development course in college, i sleep at night and think about this mod that i created over the better part of a year, many years ago and smile.
It had everything a mod needs. Assets, a goal, a design document, a vision for how it should be played and damnit, it worked.
Now i'm at the point in my life where i have to look for a job in the gaming industry (not an easy task) and Xmas fits the build. But theres a catch.
Do i keep on working on Xmas for HL 1, which has already everything id need, or move onto the HL 2 engine and be able to create new and better looking assets?
Both has its pros and cons.
So im asking you, the modding community, what path should i choose.
Leave a comment and guide me through!

No it's not like Sci hunt at all.
It's just straight up HL deathmatch, but with new player models, new weapon models for every weapons, couple of new maps, tons of new 2d gfx, tons of new sounds and a whole lot more.
ALL with a Xmas theme to it! :D

oh my, small evles biting and tearing a old grand mom to death, love it ! :devil: i got the worlds phatest remote car, i can kill drivers in real cars if id use chicken race :devious: but i use it to hit small kids with em and run em over when there lehying down! (well not relly but it whould be cool! :devil: ) well this sounds cool, whould it be like SciHunt? u run around kelling stuff and other players? WUV IT! :devil:

It's my model and i gave a copy to the Water Wars mod to help them out.
I've always like helping mods get off the ground.
Oh and sorry for the website, it's in reconstruction.
