The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.

So the Gundams basically gives off an aura that unlocks special abilities on nearby mobile suits? Or do the mobile suits get them/make purchasable when called down via support power?

The gundams give off a map-covering aura that unlocks special abilities of units of the proper teir. These powers are automatic so you don't have to do anything, the units are completely automated. There are 3 Gundams for each teir to choose. One will give additional powers/abilities, one will the units themselves stronger/better/swap weapons, and one will be a much more passive bonus because the unit itself is the centerpiece.

At teir 1 we have Gundam RX78, Gundam Mudrock, and Gundam Alex. RX78 unlocks teir 1 mobile suit support powers, Mudrock unlocks targeting sensors on Special Ops teir 1 units, and Alex upgrades the RGM79 / GM Sniper to White Dingo elite units.

But at teir 2 GP03 won't really grant any bonus's to the units because it's freaking GP03. It's a monster on it's own!

Hahaha, very well said, sir!

It was like GP03 suddenly the one to be mowing down waves and waves of units and taking down big names.

Description

So it may be hard to see exactly what is going on in these pics but what is happening here is that the UC Gundams presence is being felt in the game. How is that? You don't even see the Gundams here. Well whats going on here is the RX78 Gundam is on the field. When this happens the RGM79 and the GM Sniper 2 gain new attack powers. The RGM 79 fires off a flare that calls in a bombing run from a Core Bomber. The GM Sniper fires off a flare that does a similar thing, it calls in an artillery bombardment at the flares location. Once the RX78 is destroyed these features no longer work.

You see each gundam will affect the teir that it's in in a different way. RX78 allows for the units to call in their own off-screen attack. Gundam Alex upgrades the RGM79 into the Cold Climate elite units and grants the GM Sniper the ability to stealth. Finally Gundam Mudrock allows the RGC80 and RX-77D to have 100% accurate shots and the Guntanks to have faster auto-loaders for their cannons. So you can see exactly why it will be important on what Gundam you pick not only based on what the unit itself brings to the table but what it can do for your army and playstyle.
