The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
We're using the Avatars as a more robust and complete NOD program. There is the standard Avatar that has its EMP cannon / Laser cannon / flame thrower making it useful against any unknown target but the stars of this program are the rarer leader Avatars.
The Purifier is a close range unit. This squad will focus on close range allowing the Purifier to get in close and do maximum damage, so if your looking for your Avatars to always try and get close and use those high damage flame throwers use these.
The Phantom class avatar is what was the Shield Avatar from before. This class avatar has a powerful long range plasma cannon. Its range is almost that of an artillery unit, meaning that the squad stands far away from their targets allowing the Phantom unit to go to work with its plasma cannon, only engaging if the enemy comes into mid-range (standard tank range) so if you want your avatars to stand back and make the enemy have to come to them to deal with them these are the squads you will go with.
The Kashtan Avatar is a unit equipped with a heavy gattling cannon. Its weaponry is influenced from the Soviet Union, giving the unit a more classic load-out. Its range is the same as the Legion Avatars it leads so the end result is every unit fires at the same time from mid range, these are the guys that you go with if you want them to fight from a standard range and not get too close or stay too far out.
The final Avatar is built only from an Operations Center in the field, the Stealth Avatar. Equipped with ground only targeting weapons, the Stealth Avatar is highly unique in the game. Its weapon is an energy lance wave doing massive damage to all things in its way and it uses a prototype stealth generator that allows it to always stay invisible even when firing so you must use stealth detectors to find it or it will simply wipe you out.
This design also go's along with our story, with the unique units being piloted but the standard avatars that accompany them being Legion Class Avatars that are AI controlled. This is also the reason that when you collect the husks all you get are the Legion Avatars.
