The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
So one of the major things Doug and I both agreed on was that we needed the special effect of the UC MAD system (Mobile Armor Defense) firing could not look like the EMP or the Ion Cannon. I'm not very good at special effects but I'm starting to get the hang of it I think. Here's a pic of what I came up with. I know your saying "dude, way to thin of a beam" and I'm working on that aspect of it but the point is unlike the GDI beam this one only lasts for a second at most. However the key point here is it's constantly doing damage to anything under it for that second it's there and the system will fire this beam every second, so the idea is that it will be able to constantly fire a stream of energy from space dealing slow but steady damage to any Mobile Armor units that it comes across. It will NOT be able to be control fired and will only fire at mobile armors, but the point is it will cut them in half. :)
That reminds me, does this replace that Tier 4 satellite beam from hell or is this just an addition? And if it is just an addition, would you consider changing the effect of that satellite beam from hell so that it isn't 5 Ion Cannons at once?
i think that the "satellite beam from hell" will beremoved anyway,it's WAAAY overpowerd
Well the satellite beam power will fire only a few or several times to destroy an enemy unit/structures. So it doesn't need to be overpowered.
This replaces the beams from hell lol.
